Garanti BBVA stages Istanbul Venture Day, a great opportunity for innovative local startups
Garanti BBVA, Türkiye’s leading digital bank, is all set to stage ‘Istanbul Venture Day’ to support the startup ecosystem and help ramp up innovative fintech solutions. The event will be held at the Salt Galata center on October 24 and is being organized alongside IE University in Spain, with the close support of the Spanish and Italian consulates. It is essentially the Istanbul leg of the ‘Venture Day’ series being held by IE University ahead of the wider Global South Summit.
The event will feature five outstanding startups that are looking to make a real difference within the fintech industry. Aside from true fintechs, these startups will be picked from various related sectors, such as regtech, martech and adtech.
‘Istanbul Venture Day’ will bring investors from Italy and Spain under the same roof, offering the startups genuinely global growth opportunities. Participating startups will have the chance to find a foothold in the Italian and Spanish markets by securing investment in these countries. Therefore, the businesses can gain a lot from the event when it comes to international growth and new partnerships.
This event is the first of its kind in the Turkish fintech sector. It aims to open the doors to the international stage for promising local startups.
