Garanti BBVA Digital Assets to add AVAX to its crypto services
Garanti BBVA Digital Assets will shortly be offering Avalanche c-chain support for AVAX coins to users of its Garanti BBVA Crypto mobile platform.
Garanti BBVA’s independent company currently provides pioneering trading, storage and transfer services for a variety of cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and USD Coin (USDC), and plans to continue to add new assets to its platform following a comprehensive security review every month.
Çağrı Süzer, Garanti BBVA Executive Vice President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Garanti BBVA Digital Assets, explained that Türkiye is one of the top five countries in the world in terms of crypto trading. “We see that a significant part of the trades occur in a limited number of assets,” he added. Garanti BBVA created the Garanti BBVA Digital Assets company in order to provide its customers a simple and convenient way to store, purchase and sell these assets.
The decision to include AVAX coins in the list of supported cryptocurrencies came as a result of customer recommendations. “In the future, we will continue to grow in this area by further developing our service infrastructure, and expanding our crypto asset diversity."
