Garanti BBVA and Doğan Holding together break new ground in payments
Doğan Holding's subsidiary Suzuki Motor Vehicles Marketing Inc. became the first Turkish company to use Garanti BBVA's Global Payments product featuring SWIFT FileAct.
As part of its ongoing collaboration with Garanti BBVA, Doğan Holding started using SWIFT FileAct to carry out its treasury operations. The BBVA’s Turkish unit developed its Global Payments product, enhanced with SWIFT FileAct, to help domestic and international companies operating in Turkey with their cash management activities.
With this product, Garanti BBVA offers its corporate customers the ease of managing treasury operations via a single, centralized channel. Doğan Holding's subsidiary Suzuki Motor Vehicles Marketing Inc. is the first Turkish company to take advantage of the convenience offered by the Global Payments - SWIFT FileAct combination.
Garanti BBVA executive vice president, Ebru Dildar, commented on the move: "A Turkish company has, for the first time, conducted treasury transactions using Garanti BBVA's SWIFT FileAct channel." The bank’s executive vice president explained that it is Garanti BBVA’s priority to bring internationally recognized products to the local corporate market. The bank’s end goal is to offer client-centric, transparent, fast, and traceable international payment products. “We are proud, once again, to be first in the market with an innovative offering, and this time with our esteemed client, Doğan Holding,” Dildar concluded.
