Garanti BBVA enhances its digital solutions to bolster customers’ financial health
Through an advisory service, BBVA’s Turkish franchise aims to improve its customers’ finances, facilitating budget management and helping them meet their savings goals with personalized solutions.
Improving customers’ financial health is one of Garanti BBVA’s strategic priorities. In support of this objective, the bank frequently updates its catalog of digital solutions in order to offer new tools to help organize personal finances. Therefore, Garanti BBVA is not only putting its customers at the heart of its business - it is also providing an added value to the country’s economy and society in general in a sustainable manner.
With the new digital solutions, customers can use the mobile app to keep track of their expenses through a personalized monthly planning tool, depending on their needs. Based on technology and data analytics, the savings tool proactively alerts users of ways to save in certain categories of expenses every month. For example, customers receive a notification when they are getting close to a certain amount, which provides greater transparency and allows them to be more aware of their expenses. This makes it easier to monitor them and strike a balance between income and expenses.
Garanti BBVA Mobil has a wide range of features that promote customers’ financial health, with periodic information on credit cards, accounts and payments that allow customers to track their budget more actively.
The assistant Ugi is also proactive in helping customers, informing them of purchases and helping them to defer payments or pay in installments if they wish. Ugi also identifies when a customer needs online assistance and helps them to get connected on the mobile app.
