For the second year in a row, the U.S. publication named BBVA one of the best companies in the world in a ranking developed in conjunction with Statista. The financial institution is the top Spanish bank on the list and ranks eighth worldwide.

The financial magazine honored BBVA for the fourth time and second consecutive year with the top corporate banking award in its 'World's Best Bank Awards' for 2024, which set the standard for excellence in the financial sector.

BBVA received the Gallup Award for one of the world’s top workplaces. This marks the third time the financial institution has received this global recognition.

The U.S. based consulting firm, Gallup, has selected BBVA as one of the most exceptional companies to work for in the world. The Gallup award recognizes organizations that are committed to the corporate culture and talent development of their workforces.

The British publication, which is part of the Financial Times group, selected the BBVA Group as the Global Bank of the Year. The Banker also recognized BBVA as the Best Bank in Western Europe, Spain, Peru and Colombia. The magazine pointed to the Group’s strong financial fundamentals and innovation and sustainability strategies, which put it ahead of its peers.

The BBVA Foundation presented the Frontiers of Knowledge Award in Social Sciences to Mark Granovetter, “the most eminent economic sociologist in the world,” for revealing the power of “loose social ties” among individuals for people's economic and social performance.

The bank was also recognized as the best investment bank of the year. Ebru Dildar Edin, Executive Vice President of Garanti BBVA, reaffirmed the bank's commitment to “continue to maintain its sustainability and investment objectives and to set more ambitious goals each year.”

World Finance magazine awarded Garanti BBVA as the best retail bank in Turkey for the seventh consecutive year in its 2021 awards. The publication also found BBVA's Turkish subsidiary to be the best bank in Europe, an award it has won for the fourth year.

GoBanking Rates released its annual Best Banks of 2021 lists this month, naming BBVA USA in three categories: Best Money Market Accounts, Best Regional Banks and Top 100 Banks. 

Three years ago, BBVA USA unveiled a new front-end sales and service application that would be a key tool for the frontline branch employees across the bank’s footprint. That tool was Client Vista.
