Top 10 personal finance apps in Google Play and Apple Store in June
Mobile banking apps tend to top the rankings on the two largest app store platforms. However, there is always the occasional surprise.
The mobile versions of different banks are nearly always the most popular apps in the Finance category in stores like Google Play and App Store, However, other kinds of apps joining the top 10, be they corporate or not, can be indicative of user demands for managing their finances.
June reveals a few trends that point to specific user behavior, especially when combined with those observed in the previous month's Top 10. The apps of large banks continue to dominate the apps marketplace.
In Google Play Trading 212 apps (with which you can intuitively operate with different currencies) and Verse (enables you to make transfers easily from anywhere) compete to take the place of the apps of large financial institutions. This indicates that trading apps are increasingly becoming more important. For the first time the PayPal app is not among the favorites of Android users.
iPhone users prefer the apps of large banks, which occupy the top nine positions of this ranking. The Plus500 app has established itself this month in the bottom spot of this Top 10.
