Garanti BBVA continues to make life easier for its customers with Garanti BBVA Mobile: with more than 15.5 million active users, it is the most widely used private-sector banking app in Türkiye. The Garanti BBVA Mobile app offers more than 1,000 different functions. Transactions that used to require a physical signature can now be completed using the app thanks to authentication technologies. Individuals and companies can take care of all their banking business entirely online without ever having to set foot in a branch office. If a customer changes phone number or SIM card–because they have switched operators, for instance–they can re-confirm their identity by means of a video call or using the NFC feature on their smartphone. Password creation and retrieval is also managed within the app.

Garanti BBVA offers a holistic experience via mobile and internet to add value to the lives of more than 1.6 million self-employed, SME and enterprise customers. Products and services available online encompass a comprehensive range of business loans, credit facilities and other forms of finance. In addition, enterprise customers can track and manage their day-to-day activities, such as payroll, insurance, export papers and electronic ledgers.

As many as 89 percent of the bank’s SME customers actively use digital channels, while close to 99 percent of wire transfers, EFT, FAST and SWIFT transactions, foreign currency buying and selling, credit card and bill payments are completed online.

Murat Çağrı Süzer, Executive Vice President of Garanti BBVA states: "The answer to every banking need is now available on the smartphone in your pocket. This requires us to focus on a service model where we can offer all solutions at this first point of contact."

Garanti BBVA continues to invest in expanding its digital product range and finding new ways of making life easier for customers by streamlining the user experience across all functions, points of contact and digital platforms. Service is uninterrupted, and still includes human assistance when needed. “Our main goal,” explains Süzer, “is to maximize customer experience with real-time, tailored and personalized content."
