Garanti BBVA becomes first Turkish bank to offer end-to-end digital vehicle loans for retail customers
Garanti BBVA has fully digitized its vehicle loan process, allowing individuals—following companies and self-employed customers—to obtain digital loans for nearly 40 automobile brands. Loan applications and onboarding can be completed on a smartphone without the need for any printed documents. BBVA’s Turkish franchise is the first and only bank in the country to offer this innovative service.
Garanti BBVA Executive Vice President Ceren Acer Kezik stated, “Digitization has brought speed and convenience to the forefront of vehicle sales. In response, banks have moved to fully digitize their loan processes.”
BBVA’s Turkish unit is now extending its digital vehicle loan service, initially launched last year for companies and self-employed customers only, to individuals as well. Nearly 40 vehicle brands are available for purchase using digital-only loans.
