BBVA, the first bank in Spain to support the whole process of setting up a company, without charging anything for the initial advice

BBVA has taken yet another step forward in its commitment to the Spanish business community. For the first time ever, a bank will help, together with Ayuda T Pymes, all those entrepreneurs who are looking to set up their business, accompanying them from start to finish and at no additional cost. What this means is that any entrepreneur can now turn their business idea into a lawfully incorporated company within a matter of days, without having to worry about all the red tape. BBVA is expanding the support it offers its customers, as it supports entrepreneurs even before they become customers of the bank.

BBVA, primer banco en España, que ayuda sin coste a crear una empresa

BBVA is seeking to champion entrepreneurship and accompany entrepreneurs in building their business from the ground up. The bank, together with Ayuda T Pymes consultancy, is on hand to help the client from start to finish, from the time the idea pops into their head through to having a fully operational company. That includes the legal side of things and setting up the company’s bank account.

Setting up a company is often a long-winded process. BBVA, as an innovative bank that is there for new generations of SMEs, has launched this service to make things slightly less painful due to all the paperwork involved.

With this free advice right from the get-go (the client pays only the registry filing and notary fees), our specialist advisors will accompany the entrepreneurs every step of the way to facilitate and speed up the process of setting up a company. Entrepreneurs need only log into the website (teayudamosacreartuempresa.com) and enter the relevant information as they take their first steps in setting up their new company, always with the expert help of an advisor.

The director of SMEs at BBVA in Spain, José Luis Serrano, proclaimed that “this new launch is part of our commitment to SMEs and entrepreneurship.” “Once the company has been set up, we continue to lend our support by offering tailor-made products and services, financing and a team of managers, which has grown by more than 20% in the last year,” he added.

Possible discount on expenses of up to €720 over six months

BBVA is also offering to subsidize up to €720 gross over six months in expenses for all new customers who take out the Welcome Business Account for SMEs, making it even easier to set up a business. To be eligible, the client must pay their taxes and/or social security contributions by direct debit. The bank will then grant a bonus of up to €120 gross per month for six consecutive months.

The Welcome Business Account for SMEs carries no fees and comes with various other perks, including: no fees for ordinary transfers or for issuing payrolls online, and no fees for cashing national checks in euros within Europe, thus making it even easier to receive payments and other transactions.

This latest promotion comes on top of another one that has been running since 2023 for both SMEs and the self-employed, whereby businesses can arrange a POS terminal an earn a subsidy at no additional cost for the first 12 months (Bono 6, Bono 10, Bono 15, Bono 20 and Bono 30). They will also be eligible for funding under special terms and conditions. Note that these promotions are cumulative, meaning new clients can benefit from all of them at the same time.
