BBVA increases by 50 percent its October dividend, to €0.12 per share
BBVA shareholders will receive next October 11, 2022, a cash interim dividend of €0.12 (gross) per share. This amount is 50 percent higher than that of last year, of €0.08 per share paid in October 2021. The Group’s solid results in the first half of the year are supporting this decision.
In November 2021, BBVA improved its shareholder distribution policy, increasing the payout to 40-50 percent of its profit, from a previous range of 35-40 percent. The implementation of this policy consists of two payments in cash (one interim, and a final one), which could be complemented with share buyback programs.
