In October, the number of people registered in unemployment in Spain rose by 44,685, a very low increase that was only lower in 2007, 2006 and 2005. With this data from last month, there are now a total of 3,764,982 unemployed people.

Young people in Spain spend nearly half their salaries on rent. According to the real estate website pisos.com, people under 34 in Spain spend 55.34% of their salary on rent, an average of €661.

Spain’s Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector had a turnover of €90.01 billion in 2015, an increase of 4.8 % from the previous year, according to Ametic, which expects income to increase by 5.4 % in 2016 to €94.86 billion.

The BBVA Group earned €2.8 billion between January and September 2016, up 64.3% from the same period a year earlier. Stripping out the impact of corporate operations and currency fluctuations, growth reached 15.0%. Net attributable profit rose to €965 million in the third quarter.
