Gema Ramos
Are BBVA’s technological projects challenging?
At BBVA, there are technological projects of all kinds: from the implementation of new developments for the business, to the transfer of DPCs to different locations. All of different complexity and very challenging. In the 20 years that I have worked here, all the projects have given me both technical knowledge and new ways of working.
What has your career been like?
At BBVA, you own your own development. My professional career began with database management, and I have been learning new technologies, programming languages and I have also been involved in team management.
Diego Martínez
Is BBVA a good place to work for technical profiles?
Yes. There is a lot of technical perimeter to cover, and this variety translates into relevant transformation and/or innovation projects. In addition, we have the necessary means to execute these projects (training, technology, knowledge bases, colleagues), and this gives us autonomy and helps us make on-time, quality deliveries.
What is a day in your life like?
What I like most about my day is the feeling of having very good friends at work. I can come to the office or work remotely, knowing that I´m going to have a good time. Having friendship and laughter in your day is great.
