During you time at BBVA, have you been involved in challenging projects?
I am currently working on the Paa of BBVA Spain, an application that is under constant innovation and development. For example, when mobile devices began to incorporate biometric recognition, we incorporated this technology, and we were the first bank to offer biometrics as a form of signature for transactions.
How do BBVA’s Technology teams work?
Agile makes each person totally autonomous, and clear about their tasks, their team, their facilitator and their business reference. This way of working fosters collaboration, generates a good working environment and facilitates flexibility and work/life balance.
Gerardo Mongelli
How would you describe your experience working as a cloud architect at BBVA?
BBVA provides technical profiles with countless development opportunities in practically all areas of technology: architecture, implementation, systems, user experience design and data engineering and exploitation.
What technology do you work with?
We work with almost all the technologies on the market, from the most traditional to the most disruptive. Concepts such as DevOps, FinOps and GreenOps are present everywhere at the moment. Our technology partners allow us to access alpha or beta versions of their products.
