BBVA Research redesigns its website keeping digital transformation in mind
We live in times of rapid change. And in this age of change, we refuse to just sit with the audience as mere spectators; we want to be in the spotlight, we want to play a leading role in this digital revolution, in this reality that demands us to be able to quickly adapt. It is in this context of relentless transformation that has prompted BBVA Research to launch new website: more user-friendly, with expanded features and a responsive design that adapts to any browsing device.
BBVA Research, which currently employs over a hundred economists in nine different countries, has established itself as a reputable source of economic analysis in America, Europe and Asia and relies on its website to disseminate its reports and forecasts free of charge. Now, the website has been completely renovated: new layout; improved usability; responsive design for mobile and desktop browsing; and a special focus on personalization. From now on, BBVA Research’s website will show content items based on user’s current location, preferences and browsing history.
"We use Artificial Intelligence to learn from our users’ browsing patterns and preferences and display the contents that interest them the most," explains Jorge Sicilia, Chief Economist of BBVA Group and Director of BBVA Research.
A set of new features have been added to the personal section of BBVA Research’s website, including reading lists - which allows users to read contents whenever they want - and a library section, to save those they may want to keep as future reference.
“It's a more modern, more accessible, more visual website. It is a renewed website, designed for the digital world to deliver an improved browsing experience”
BBVA Research has also updated its newsletter’s design to provide easier access to contents. Besides the traditional periodicity and language (English/Spanish) options, the newsletter will not only list new publications, but will also inform users about any new documents added to older items.
"It's a more modern, more accessible, more visual website. It is a renewed website, designed for the digital world to deliver an improved browsing experience,” says Jorge Sicilia.
In short, the new BBVA Research website has been reinvented to live in an increasingly digitized ecosystem. As the dizzying pace of innovation continues to increase, the ability to adapt and remain a reliable source in an age of information overload becomes ever more crucial.
It here. The new BBVA Research is already waiting for you.
