BBVA Paraguay, the best bank in financial services and online banking
BBVA was distinguished in the “e-Commerce Awards Paraguay 2015” as best bank in the category of “Financial Services and Online Banking”, organized by the Latin American Institute for Electronic Commerce and coordinated locally by the Paraguayan Chamber of Electronic Commerce (CAPACE) and the Paraguayan Industrial Union.
The award was handed out within the context of the “e-Commerce Day”, an event where over 30 national and international experts shared their insight into the latest trends and success cases regarding the impact of the Internet on Electronic Commerce. During the event, the awardees were praised for their contribution to the development of electronic commerce and online business in Paraguay.
The jury, consisting of prominent national and international figures, pondered on different qualitative aspects of the bank’s offering and features of its online channel technology, look & feel, functional design, flexibility, security and privacy criteria, as well as commercial and marketing strategy.
“At BBVA we have tackled the digital transformation process as the road to help our customers run their day-to-day businesses in a more streamlined and easier way, aiming to become the quintessential digital bank. We seek to improve and evolve our users’ banking experience and, above all, offer them the power to choose, to decide how they want to do their banking”, said Waldir Falcón, head of Digital Channels and Payment Methods at BBVA Paraguay.
The digital bank offers customers seamless access to financial products and services, whenever and wherever they need them. Both BBVA net and BBVA Mobile Banking allow customers to check their accounts and contracted services and to perform a number of operations including service payments, loan and credit card payments and transfers. BBVA is also working in the implementation of tools that will enable customers to contract products through the digital channel, such as the possibility of ordering cash advances, 100% through BBVA net.
