BBVA launches the official website of Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante
BBVA has unveiled the official website of Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante (www.ligabbva.com), offering users the best on-line soccer league in the world. Soccer fans can now access dozens of videos, exclusive content and live broadcasts. Gregorio Panadero, Managing Director of Communications and Branding at BBVA, explains that the philosophy behind www.ligabbva.com is "to provide users from around the world with a new tool for accessing the kind of on-line content they demand, quickly and free of charge, wherever they are and, in the future, regardless of the language they speak".
The new website (www.ligabbva.com) heralds the arrival of a new concept of covering the world's most exciting soccer league over the Internet. The web page will feature over 30 exclusive videos each week and the very best in reports and interviews, with all the information updated in real time. It will also broadcast live events and include personalized contents tailored to the individual preferences of users.
At the outset, the site will be available in two languages (Spanish and English), although other languages will be incorporated over the coming months. Furthermore, the new website will allow fans to personalize web content to reflect their geographic location and also to include the live videos and results on any web page through a downloadable widget.
The new official site offers comprehensive information on both Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante, and will have the accolade of being the first website in Spain to boast regular live broadcasts, including the BBVA-sponsored "Champions for Africa" match between a team of Liga BBVA players and Africa United, composed of international stars from other European leagues. The match will be held at Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on December 22.
It will also include live broadcasts of the La Jornada de tu Vida soccer marksmen competition open to BBVA clients and the matches of the XIV Torneo Blue BBVA Internacional Alevín seven-a-side colt soccer cup, which will take place in Arona (Tenerife) from December 27-29.
