BBVA, confirms title as best investment bank in Spain
BBVA has been awarded best investment bank in Spain for the third year running in Global Finance's ranking.
This award recognizes the efforts of BBVA Corporate & Investment Banking facing a challenging financial markets scenario and a changing investment banking business model, where all its teams have proven to be outstanding professionals in M&A, fixed income and equity origination, global markets, lending and transaction banking.
Based on expert advice, the magazine bestows these awards based on market share and the number and size of investment banking transactions as well as other qualitative variables such as the ability to adapt to market conditions, innovation and reputation.
According to Global Finance, this year's winners have been chosen due to the efforts made to use technology to achieve objectives, contain costs and manage regulatory advances.
