BBVA confirmed as best sub-custodian in Spain and Mexico by Global Finance
For the fourth year in a row in Spain and third consecutive year in Mexico, BBVA has been named "Best Sub-custodian" in both countries in the "World's Best Sub-custodian Banks 2015" annual survey conducted by the prestigious journal Global Finance, to be published in its July/August edition.
The Global Finance magazine's editors and reporters selected the winners from among all the institutions that provide custody services in local markets, with input from expert sources.
The selection criteria taken into account by Global Finance included: quality of service, customer relations, competitive pricing, technological platform, smooth handling of exception items, business continuity plans and knowledge of the local market.
This prize is in addition to those awarded in September 2014 by Global Custodian magazine in its "Agent Banks in Major Markets Survey", where it recognized BBVA as "Market Outperformer" and "Category Outperformer". The same magazine, in its "Agent Banks in Emerging Markets Survey", also recognized BBVA Bancomer as "Best in Class for Financing in Mexico" and "Category Commended".
These new recognitions by Global Finance magazine once again highlight that the level of specialized services offered by BBVA is considered a benchmark in both the Spanish and Mexican markets.
