BBVA Compass names Doug Prevett its Orlando market president
BBVA Compass announced today that Doug Prevett has been named its market president of Orlando, where he will lead efforts to increase brand awareness and represent the bank’s interests in the market.
Prevett will provide leadership for all commercial banking and Global Wealth activities, including business development and overseeing the area’s team structure. He joined the BBVA Compass team in 2013 and has served as a relationship manager in the area.
“Doug is a proven professional and someone who knows the market, having been here his entire career,” said BBVA Compass East Region Executive Lee Smith. “He has a strong reputation in the community and is committed to our success, and I know he'll continue to establish and strengthen our client relationships. Orlando is a key market for us since it has a growing technology scene and we're fully immersed in our own digital transformation at BBVA Compass."

Prevett, who began his career in 2000 at SunTrust, has 16 years of banking experience. His community involvement includes work with Junior Achievement and the Second Harvest Food Bank. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University, and an MBA from the University of Central Florida.
