BBVA Asset Management receives yet another award this year at the Expansión-Allfunds Awards
BBVA Plan Mercado Monetario PPI has received the award for best pension plan in the Short-Term Fixed Income category at the Expansión-Allfunds awards. BBVA Asset Management (BBVA AM) was also nominated in the categories of Best National Manager and Best Solidarity Fund.
The 34th edition of the Expansión-Allfunds Awards was held on Wednesday 24 May, an event that highlights the most profitable and best-managed collective investment institutions in the sector.
This year, BBVA Asset Management was recognized for the management of its fixed-income strategy, with the BBVA Plan Mercado Monetario, PPI, winning the award for the best pension plan in the Short-Term Fixed Income category.
This vehicle is an individual pension plan, integrated in a short-term fixed-income pension fund (BBVA Mercado Monetario, FP) that invests mainly in public and private fixed-income securities with maturities of up to 18 months.
The jury of the awards considered BBVA AM's management work and the consistency of the product's returns and volatility over different maturities.
BBVA Management was also nominated in several categories, including Best National Manager and Best Solidarity Fund.
This award adds to the long track record of awards received by the fund manager in previous years.
